Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an Equipment Operator for hydraulic excavators, skid loaders, and dozers. This traveling role covers the Northeast, with extended away-from-home assignments and occasional local work. You will read plans, operate equipment on utilities projects, and maintain site safety.

Responsibilities include inspections, loading/unloading, transporting gear, locating utilities, and documenting work. Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds and travel as required; CDL‑A is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering/construction prints, plans, and specifications.
• Ability to move materials/equipment weighing up to 80 pounds.
• Strong teamwork and communication in a fast-paced field environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment in a secure, damage-free manner.
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites.
• Perform daily pre-shift inspection of equipment.
• Operate hydraulic excavators, skid loaders, and dozer to install utilities.
• Locate existing underground utilities and verify them per blueprints.
• Dig pits, trenches, or potholes as required and restore disturbed areas.
• Complete timesheets, vehicle logs, and expense reports.
