Job summary

Westerville Modern Dentistry, part of the PDS Health network, is hiring a Dental Assistant in Westerville, OH. You will support clinicians to deliver the Perfect Patient Experience, assist in specialty areas, and help create Patients for Life.

Role involves radiographs, charting, sterile technique, and coordinating with the front desk. We offer growth opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED and state-mandated training courses.
• State certification/licensure as mandated by state.
• Specialty Dental Assistants must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Travel to multiple offices daily may be required.
• Alternate transportation acceptable if driving is not available.
• Travel may be planned or unplanned and is subject to change.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians to deliver PPE and patient-centered care.
• Escort patients to the front desk and introduce them to team members.
• Coordinate with front/back office to keep Orthodontists schedule running smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and sterilize instruments.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentist to enable efficient care.
• Complete radiographs and intra-oral photos as directed.
• Prepare tray setups and manage supply levels in each operatory.
• Record patient charts and clinician notes in the digital chart.
• Present treatment records, consents and health history to clinician.
• Ensure equipment is maintained per manufacturer guidelines.
• Participate in daily huddles and team meetings.
• Demonstrate PDS Brand values and PPE processes.
