Job summary

Platinum Dental Services is seeking a Traveling Endodontic Dental Assistant to join our team. The position covers travel to Prescott, Prescott Valley and Chino Valley, with Friday shifts 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and potential for additional days when travel to the Phoenix area is needed.

Compensation ranges from $20 to $22 per hour for this part-time role, with travel reimbursement, PTO, paid holidays, and comprehensive benefits available for qualifying hours.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience as a dental assistant in a specialty such as Endodontics.
• Technical: Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Regulatory: Understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Certification: X-ray certified.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients to the dental office.
• Prepare patients for treatments.
• Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed.
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations.
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry.
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed.
• Provide post-operative care instructions.
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked.
• Schedule appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
