Job summary

Evergreen Fire and Security is seeking a Traveling Electronic Security Systems Technician with extensive travel, strong customer-facing skills, and a solid background in low-voltage wiring. You will install, test, and maintain security systems, interact with customers on-site, and ensure compliance with safety regulations while coordinating service orders and inspections.

The ideal candidate has a valid CPR/First Aid card, an electrician credential or trainee card, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel extensively and travel frequently
• Valid CPR/First Aid card required
• Valid electrician certificate or trainee card
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Electrical wiring experience
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Good communication skills to interface with customers
• Ability to call and schedule appointments, follow instructions, and understand code requirements
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously
• Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude
• Valid driver\'s license and proof of minimum liability insurance
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random background, drug, and MVR screenings

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, tests, and maintains security projects
• Serves as the face of Evergreen to customers onsite
• Ensures safety through compliance with State and Federal regulations
• Handles service orders and project administration
• Performs follow-up to ensure the client is ready for inspection
