Qualifications

• Self-motivated and reliable electricians who can work independently.
• 3+ years of verifiable electrical experience in heavy commercial/industrial environments.
• Proficient and up-to-date NEC knowledge.
• Must possess a complete set of personal hand tools.
• Clean, insurable driving record for nationwide travel.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office for logging data.

Responsibilities

• Installation of UPS power distribution systems, load centers, and backup generators.
• Conduit bending with Greenlee 881/555 series and related tools.
• Blueprint reading and interpretation of electrical schematics.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues on-site.
• Apply fundamental control wiring knowledge to various systems.
• Safely operate heavy machinery on job sites.

In this role, you will travel nationwide to install high-level backup systems, including industrial generators and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Installation: Install UPS power distribution systems, load centers, and backup generators.
• Conduit Bending: Utilize Greenlee 881/555 series benders, ratchet benders, and hand benders efficiently.
• Blueprint & Print Reading: Interpret and work directly from electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex electrical issues on-site.
• Control Wiring: Apply a fundamental understanding of control wiring to various systems.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate heavy machinery including forklifts, lulls, backhoes, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Licensing: Must hold a valid State Journeyman License OR be actively on track to take the Journeyman exam while remaining in good standing with an approved apprenticeship program.
• Experience: 3+ years of verifiable electrical experience, specifically in heavy commercial or industrial environments.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficient and up-to-date knowledge of the current National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Tools: Must possess a complete set of personal hand tools standard for the trade.
• Driving Record: Must maintain a clean, insurable driving record for nationwide travel.
• Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products for logging data or updates.

$43 - $48 an hour
