Job summary

Amteck is seeking a traveling Electrical Field Supervisor to join our team and drive excellence in project delivery. You will oversee electrical tasks, coordinate field crews, and ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with regulations.

Based in Ashland, VA or willing to travel nationwide, you will read blueprints, install panels and switchgear, troubleshoot issues, and report to the superintendent. Strong supervisory experience is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites.
• Master Electrician License preferred.
• Read blueprints and install panels, switchboards, and related equipment.
• OSHA10 preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate electrical tasks to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
• Read and interpret blueprints and install electrical systems as required.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards; maintain quality and safety.
• Travel as needed; manage field crews and subcontractors.

As a Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating electrical tasks to ensure the project is completed safely, efficiently, in compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, and ultimately deliver complete customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• 10+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites
• Master Electrician License preferred
• Ability to install conduit, wire, and cable systems as required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to install and terminate panels, switchboards, and other electrical equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on faulty circuits, equipment, or systems
• OSHA10 preferred but not required
• Conveyer/press experience preferred but not required
• Supervisory experience
