Job summary

Aldridge Electric is seeking a Traveling Electrical Safety Trainer to join our dynamic team. You will deliver OSHA/ANSI training and electrical safety content across sites in the United States.

Traveling 75% or more, you will mentor new trainers, maintain a training library, and partner with operating groups to address safety trends. A strong background in construction safety and relevant certifications is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of training experience in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of safety codes and practices used in construction industry.
• OSHA 500 and OSHA 501 certifications are required.
• Forklift and Aerial Lift Operator Trainer certifications are required.
• Red Cross Authorized Instructor certification is required.
• NFPA 70E, OSHA 10 ET&D Trainer, ATSSA Flagger Trainer, Qualified Rigger Levels 1&2 Trainer, HAZWOPER Trainer certifications are preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and hands-on training content and materials that comply with OSHA/ANSI standards and related safety guidelines.
• Partner with operating groups to identify and provide ongoing safety training for operational needs and incident trends.
• Conduct OSHA 10 Hour (Construction & General Industry), OSHA 30 Hour, First Aid/CPR, Confined Space/Flager and Qualified Rigger trainings.
• Conduct electrical awareness training (LOTO, NFPA 70E) and related safety topics.
• Perform hands-on equipment qualifications (MEWPs, Forklifts) as needed.
• Maintain a comprehensive training library for corporate use.

Traveling Electrical Safety Trainer

What we are looking for:

Aldridge is seeking a Traveling Electrical Safety Trainer to join our dynamic and energetic team.

What you'll do:

• Deliver classroom and hands-on training content and materials that comply with OSHA 1926 construction industry, OSHA 1910 general industry, ANSI, ATSSA, Red Cross, etc. standards
• Partner with operating groups to identify and provide ongoing safety training related to operational needs and incident reporting trends
• Conduct OSHA compliance safety training classes (OSHA 10 Hour - Construction & General Industry, OSHA 10 Hour T&D, OSHA 30 Hour - Construction & General Industry), First Aid and CPR classes, and Confined/Enclosed Space, Flagger and Qualified Rigger classes
• Conduct electrical awareness training (LOTO, NFPA 70E update, etc.)
• Conduct hands-on equipment qualifications on MEWPs, Fork Lifts, etc. as required
• Maintain a training library of resources for corporate use
• Mentor and develop new trainers across the organization
• Travel required: 75%+

Who you are:

• 5+ years experience in training in the construction industry
• Knowledgeable in all applicable safety and health codes, statutes and ordinances as well as best safety practices recognized by the construction industry
• Certifications required: OSHA 500, OSHA 501, Forklift and Aerial Lift Operator Trainer, and Red Cross Authorized Instructor
• Certifications preferred: NFPA 70E, OSHA 10 ET&D Trainer, ATSSA Flagger Trainer, Qualified Rigger – Levels 1 & 2 Trainer, HAZWOPER Trainer
• Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

What we offer:

The annual base pay for this role is between $100,000 - $130,000. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, including: location, work experience, education, training, transferable skills, business needs, and market conditions. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for a bonus. Aldridge provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes the following:
