Amteck is seeking a QAQC Coordinator for the new construction division. This traveling role focuses on ensuring quality control across electrical construction projects, with opportunities to move to other projects after completion.

The position emphasizes growth, safety, and long-term career development within the company. Candidates should bring at least 10 years in electrical construction, QAQC experience, and a solid understanding of NEC and construction standards.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 10 years in the Electrical Construction Field.
• Prefer at least 2 years prior QAQC experience in the field.
• A valid JM license or Amteck Certification is preferred for this role.
• Must work knowledge of construction standards, codes, and standards relating to electrical work.
• Must be able to read, interpret, implement, and enforce the NEC.
• Must be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints and wiring schematics.
• Capable of using a laptop, tablet, and associated programs to perform the above tasks.
• Must be capable of reading and understanding installation instructions of equipment to ensure proper installation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA/QC on electrical construction projects traveling to different sites.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and wiring schematics.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, codes, standards and install instructions.
• Utilize laptop/tablet to document QA/QC findings and communicate with project teams.
