Job summary

Impellam Group is seeking an on-site Construction Supervisor to act as the site representative, coordinating with vendors and contractors to execute daily plans in line with safety standards and client practices.

Based in the United States with assignments across the US, the role requires OSHA/electrical knowledge, LOTO experience, strong communication, and willingness to travel for 4–6 month projects; typical hours are 7 AM–4 PM, Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, particularly with electrical installations.
• Knowledge of Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Basic computer skills for logs and reports.
• Good communication and attention to detail.
• Military experience (e.g., Navy electricians or engineers) is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site when vendors and contractors are present.
• Travel allowances are provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, electrical, and construction standards.
• Maintain daily interactions with third-party vendors and contractors to ensure adherence to plans and processes.
• Monitor and promote safety on-site for personnel and equipment.
• Create daily logs and communicate updates to the Construction Manager, Project Manager, and site leadership.
• Manage installation of electrical components, including cable installation, conduit installation, cable splicing and testing, underground locates, and foundations.
• Implement and follow Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Travel to project sites across the US with assignments lasting between 4 to 6 months.
• Meet site work schedules from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with occasional weekend work as needed.
