Job summary

A leading electrical contractor in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Traveling Assistant Project Manager to support the planning and execution of construction projects. This role involves coordinating with project teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to company standards and regulations. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, proficiency in project management tools, and strong organizational skills. This position offers full-time employment with benefits and requires frequent travel to job sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction or project engineering role preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to project sites.
• OSHA 30 Certification and First Aid/CPR/AED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PM in managing day-to-day project operations.
• Support preparation and tracking of RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Conduct periodic site walks to observe progress and verify compliance.
