Job summary

Gilder Search Group seeks Traveling Electrical Apprentice to work on a data center new build, traveling across New Mexico with six 10-hour days. You’ll assist Journeyman Electricians, run conduit, read blueprints, and maintain safety.

This is a W2 position with overtime at 1.5x, per diem for eligible employees, and company benefits. Total earnings potential aligns with the stated range and project duration.

Qualifications

• Physically demanding electrical construction work.
• Ability to pass required pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Experience on data center projects or large-scale commercial/industrial sites.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial electrical systems.
• Run conduit and pull wire for EMT/3/4"/1" conduit as required.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, plans, and wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and support diagnostic work alongside Journeyman Electricians.
• Follow NEC requirements, project specifications, and job site safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Transport and organize tools, materials, and equipment as needed.
