Job summary

Cascade Environmental, LLC, Weatherford, TX, is seeking field crew to operate and maintain drill rigs and related equipment on outdoor projects across the Southwest.

Typical schedule is 10 days on/4 days off with 10–12 hour days and travel up to 80%, plus per diem for traveling staff. Competitive pay, overtime, and solid benefits are offered; pre-employment checks and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

  • Negative drug test.
  • Background check (authorization for routine check) – offenses reviewed case-by-case.
  • Valid Driver’s License for your state requirement to function in this job.
  • Interstate DOT Medical Card and FMCSA requirements to operate a CMV.
  • HAZWOPER physical may be required.
  • Proof of legal right to work in the United States (IRCA).
  • Respiratory protection may be required; facial hair may need to be managed for respirator seal.

Responsibilities

  • Drive, operate, and maintain drill rigs, vehicles, forklifts, skid-steers, and other equipment.
  • Work outdoors year-round in 2–3 person crews.
  • Solve problems and work productively in a team.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections.
  • Perform physical labor and move materials with proper lifting techniques.
  • Maintain all required certifications and training.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds Safely.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

    • Starting pay of $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, zero experience required; Starting pay of $25.00 per hour for those with a CDL A

    • Our Weatherford location travels 80% of the time. Travel is within the Southwest region to the Louisiana border
    • Projects typically operate on a 10 days on and 4 days off schedule, depending on project requirements. Workday schedules may be 10 – 12 hours

  • Prior experience working with sonic, auger, rotary or direct push rigs is a plus, but not required.
HERE’S AN IDEA OF WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO -
  • Drive, operate, and maintain drill rigs, vehicles, forklifts, skid-steers, and other equipment

  • Perform physical labor, shoveling drilling debris, and transporting materials using proper lifting techniques
  • Maintain all required certifications and training
  • Be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Complete other duties and projects, as assigned
HERE’S WHAT WE REQUIRE -
  • Negative drug test
  • Satisfactory results of a background check (and your authorization to conduct a routine background check) – offenses will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
  • Possessing a valid Driver’s License for the state in which you reside and satisfactory results of a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) is an essential requirement to function in this job
  • Obtaining and maintaining an interstate DOT Medical Card and meeting all Federal Interstate FMCSA requirements to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle
  • Passing a HAZWOPER physical
  • Verifying your legal right to work in the United States under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA)
  • Respiratory Protection will be required to be worn if specified by a site-specific Health and Safety Plan, or when air monitoring indicates potential for exposure levels to reach an established action, level, threshold limit value (TLV), or permissible exposure limit (PEL).To comply with health and safety standards to protect against workplace hazards, employees may be required to shave or maintain facial hair in a manner that ensures a proper seal for respirator use.
