Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to ensure pharmacy operations support across stores within the district, covering scheduling gaps and guiding teams with integrity and patient focus.

You will travel within the district to fill shifts, supervise dispensing workflows, immunization delivery, and ensure compliance with laws while maintaining compassionate care and strong collaboration with the pharmacy team and physicians.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and act as proxy for Pharmacy Manager.
• Oversee safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and adherence to workflow procedures.
• Perform bench shifts when needed and supervise pharmacy teams.
• Deliver immunizations and coach technicians to immunize.
• Assist in inventory management with focus on cold chain protection.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state laws and CVS Health policies.
