Qualifikationen

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry or cosmetic dentistry.
• Certification in advanced dental procedures or specialties.

Aufgaben

• Examines and diagnoses dental/oral conditions and prescribes or directs treatment.
• Documents patient-dentist transactions in the dental record and completes referrals and required paperwork.
• Educates patients on oral health and prevention of dental diseases.
• Assists in continuing education and staff training.
• Designs and implements Dental Department policies and procedures per guidelines.
• Participates in short- and long-term planning for the Department and agency goals.
• Ensures compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and patient confidentiality.
• Travel between Riverhead and Central Islip sites as needed.
