Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED with required state certifications.
• One-year certificate in dental assisting or equivalent.
• Specialty dental assistants must have valid driver's license and insurance for travel to multiple offices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist during procedures.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatory areas.
• Maintain patient records and assist with radiographs and intra-oral photos.
• Assist in managing supplies and instrument trays for efficiency.
• Support front office by coordinating with clinicians and auxiliary staff.
