Job summary
Ganem Construction is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee field operations for commercial projects across Central California. This role manages daily activities, maintains schedules, enforces safety, coordinates subcontractors, and delivers quality work on time and within budget.
You will collaborate with Project Managers, owners, architects, and inspectors, ensuring compliance and proactive problem solving on site.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction superintendent experience.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Procore; OSHA 30 and CPR certifications.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily field operations on commercial construction projects.
- Promote safe work practices and ensure OSHA compliance.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and inspection agencies.
- Monitor schedules with Project Managers to meet milestones.
- Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders; maintain records.
- Conduct daily site inspections for quality, safety, and progress.
