Job summary

HazTek Safety Management is seeking a Traveling Safety Manager to support client and multiple projects with best-practice safety programs. You will ensure OSHA compliance on construction sites, consult with executive management on contractor safety plans, and oversee all subcontractors for competency.

The role emphasizes promoting health and safety initiatives, effective contractor communications, and collaboration with design teams across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a senior health and safety role in construction
• Experience liaising with design teams and project professionals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Owner's Representative experience required

Responsibilities

• Ensure OSHA compliance on Amazon construction projects
• Consult with executive management on contractor safety plans and ensure implementation
• Oversee all subcontractors and contractors for competency
• Promote health & safety initiatives to influence positive safety behavior
• Extensive experience in contractor communications and liaison with design teams
