Job summary

Procon seeks a Traveling Project Manager based in Denver, CO, to lead construction, design/build, A&E, space/facilities management, real estate, and leasing of complex projects across the U.S. and beyond.

The role requires 8+ years of experience in construction management on diverse project types and strong communication, scheduling, and leadership skills. Travel to assignments will be required, with a focus on historic and significant sites.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in construction, architecture, or engineering related field required.
  • 8+ years in construction management on historic preservation, mechanical systems, interior renovations, upgrades, or new fit-outs.
  • Excellent communication skills with field and office personnel.
  • Experience with MS Office and industry project software including MS Project, Primavera, Prolog, Project Team.
  • Experience coordinating with architects and engineers to create design and construction documents.
  • Experience reviewing design submittals, cost and schedule estimates, and reporting programmatic information.
  • Fluent in project management principles and how to implement them.
  • Ability to analyze project information and communicate status in writing or verbally.
  • Ability to read drawings and specs, interpret contracts, and use CPM scheduling.
  • Experience performing QA inspections to ensure contract adherence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site construction management oversight during mobilization, site prep, construction, fit-out, commissioning and occupancy.
  • Support planning, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcomes.
  • Interface with clients to define project requirements.
  • Review schedule and align work plans with deadlines.
  • Monitor on-site processes for compliance with drawings, security, and code.
  • Coordinate all project phases from design to construction.
  • Oversee risk management, safety compliance, and related activities.
  • Assist with acquisition planning, market research, and SOW development.
  • Provide daily technical support and coordinate with stakeholders including architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Assist with transition of projects to maintenance phase.
