Job summary

Rockford seeks a Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish in Grand Rapids, MI. This role oversees the construction process, coordinating a team of professionals to meet requirements on time and on budget, reporting to the Project Executive.

The candidate should have construction estimating experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage risk, schedules, and subcontractor relations across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
• Superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess skills in workflow analysis and management.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery from contract award to final handoff.
• Develop and manage project budgets, cost controls, and forecasting in coordination with finance.
• Establish and manage project schedules using MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Negotiate and administer subcontracts and vendor agreements.
• Lead regular owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings; document progress and changes.
