Job summary

Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead a patching and concrete crew on our Missouri projects.

You will ensure safety, efficiency, and top-quality work while coordinating with project managers to meet schedule and budget targets. The role requires 5+ years in construction with leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a track record of solving on-site challenges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or vocational training preferred.
• 5+ years of construction experience with leadership responsibility.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical skills to review project data and spot improvement opportunities.
• Experience with government contracts and compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a concrete patching crew, including scheduling and assigning tasks.
• Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Regularly communicate with project managers and stakeholders to meet schedules and budgets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with crew members and subcontractors to align with project timelines.

• Manage project resources, including materials and equipment, for efficient use.
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction projects.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to manage and lead a Patching & Concrete crew of construction workers on our projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality. As a key member of our team, the Foreman will work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a crew of construction workers, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress
• Ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality
• Ensure that all crew members comply with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards
• Communicate regularly with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budget
• Develop and maintain relationships with crew members and subcontractors to ensure that they are aware of project schedules and deadlines
• Train crew members on safety procedures and best practices
• Manage project resources, including materials and equipment, to ensure that they are used efficiently and effectively
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction projects
• Other duties as assigned
