Job summary

M.C. Dean in the United States seeks a Commissioning Engineer 4 to lead MEP commissioning, inspection, and testing on complex projects.

You will prepare plans and reports across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and controls systems. You will engage with customers, design engineering, construction teams, and vendors to resolve issues, perform start-up support, and conduct functional testing, ensuring on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of 7+ years of experience or related degree.
• Willing to travel to customer sites; travel up to 100% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Originates MEP commissioning, inspection, and testing deliverables and documentation with minimal supervision.
• Develops technical reports on system performance, coordination issues, and commissioning findings across MEP systems.
• Uses approved commissioning tools and documentation systems to plan, execute, track, and close activities.
• Participates in meetings with customers, design engineering, construction, vendors, and leadership to resolve issues.
• Performs field commissioning assignments on small to mid-scale projects as lead or independent resource.
