Job summary

Risen Mechanical LLC is seeking experienced electricians for a demanding role. You will work a 10-hour night shift, averaging about 50 hours per week, and lead projects on site while directing others. The position emphasizes safety and the ability to install and troubleshoot a variety of electrical systems.

Candidates should have extensive blueprints experience, NEC knowledge, and a valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle. A sign-on bonus, per diem, and travel accommodations are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience reading plans and one-line diagrams and testing from blueprints.
• Must have 7 years of consecutive commercial electrical experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Foreman to direct others and be on tools.
• Install safety and distribution components (switches, panels, etc.).
• Connect wiring in circuits and networks with compatible components.
• Prepare conduits and route wiring.
• Inspect and replace old wiring to prevent failures.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.

Job description

We are a rapidly growing company, and we are looking for experienced electricians to grow with us!

Due to the high amount of risk pertaining to this job, electricians must be first and foremost responsible individuals with great attention to safety precautions. The ideal candidate must be experienced in different kinds of electrical devices and systems. Typically, you will work on average about 50 hours a week. This is a 10-hour night shift.

Responsibilities

• Foreman to direct others and be ‘on tools.’
• Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
• Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
• Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
• Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units

Skills

• Read plans and one-line diagrams and be able to test on blueprint reading
• Install : lighting contact panels, and understanding of how to terminate Novar system high volt side
• Installation of switch gears and panel boards
• Installation of conduit per NEC code
• Ability to manage your time and others to help bring projects in on time
• Fully understand Lock Out Tag Out
• Troubleshoot electrical issues
• 7 years consecutive commercial experience
• Ability to read multiple different styles of blue prints
• Valid Driver's license
• Must have a reliable vehicle
• Wal-Mart Electrical remodel experience is a plus
