Job summary

Sunrise Telecom Inc. seeks a Coax Fiber Splicer to splice new build and upgrade coaxial cable plant. The position requires frequent travel and time away from home to support field deployments.

You will place and install coaxial cable, splice CATV equipment, read blueprints and maps, operate aerial lifts, and complete all required documentation while adhering to safety policies and company standards. Strong communication with management about workload is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with coaxial cable installation and splicing.
• Familiarity reading CATV blueprints and electrical designs.
• Ability to complete timesheets and reports accurately.

Responsibilities

• Place and install coaxial cable
• Install devices, pedestals, vaults or splice cases
• Splice CATV equipment
• Rough balance and troubleshoot coaxial cable plant
