Responsibilities

As a Skilled Laborer/Groundman, you will support all phases of utility construction for various telecom projects. You believe in doing the job right, being the best, and embracing challenges.

• Perform manual tasks such as digging trenches, unloading materials, and preparing job sites using hand tools like shovels, rakes, and picks.
• Work at outdoor utility construction sites.
• Transport heavy equipment to and from job sites daily.
• Build and maintain aerial and underground cable systems.
• Troubleshoot field problems as they arise.
• Learn and train to use various tools and equipment.

Qualifications

About You:

• Prioritize safety in your daily routine.
• Have a track record of completing high-quality work.
• Enjoy solving difficult problems with a hands-on approach.
• Seek long-term projects.
• Enjoy teamwork and getting your hands dirty.
• Possess a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Interested in learning telecom construction trades such as Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, etc.
