Job summary

Divcon is seeking a Traveling Project Manager to oversee installation, commissioning, and handover of multiple construction projects. You will manage scope, schedules, budgets, and risk while coordinating cross-functional teams and communicating with clients to align on requirements and expectations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in construction PM, strong BMS/HVAC knowledge, and OSHA 30 certification. This travel-heavy role requires proficiency in DivPro and robust documentation skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction project management.
• Strong understanding of building management systems (BMS), HVAC controls, and automation.
• Technical expertise in electrical systems, commissioning, and risk management.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Strong organizational and project planning skills with attention to detail.
• OSHA 30 certification obtained within the past two (2) years is required.
• If certification is not current or has not been completed, OSHA 30 training will be provided and must be successfully completed within the first week of employment.
• Proficiency in project management software and documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee installation subcontractors and Controls Technicians during commissioning.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to address concerns and manage expectations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution.
• Obtain, organize, and maintain all project contract documents.
• Review and approve engineering submittals and technical drawings before handoff.
• Track and manage change orders, purchase orders, and project expenses to maintain budget adherence.
• Maintain accurate project records, including milestones, billings, SoV, and documentation within DivPro.
• Assign commissioning work and oversee field personnel.
• Review and approve weekly timecards for Controls Technicians.
• Approve and manage the BoM for each project.
• Provide monthly project updates, including billing and financial reporting, to senior management.
