Job summary

STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a Traveling Field Foreman for our Heavy Civil team, based near Fort Worth, TX. You will lead field projects, coordinate with project managers and engineers, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Travel across nationwide projects, up to 100% travel, installing PT & rebar, bridge repair, and other demanding tasks. Experience with post-tensioned structures preferred; CDL and driving readiness are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Prior experience on post-tensioned structures is highly preferred.
• Current Union ironworkers may be given preference.
• Ability to travel up to 100%. Weekend trips home are provided every 3 weeks.
• Proven ability to manage complex construction work.
• Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and execute to construction drawings and contract specifications.
• Established dedication to safety and ability to display commitment to our operating principles.
• Experience in schedule and task management.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the customer, crew, and project teams.
• Intermediate computer skills and construction math skills.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass background screenings.

• Ensuring crews are operating all tools and equipment in a safe, proper, and productive manner.
• Providing training and assistance to field managers and crews in the performance of work-related tasks.
• Assisting Project Managers in evaluating various production rates related to the project.
• Completing all essential paperwork in a clear an accurate manner.

Structural Technologies/VSL is the exclusive licensee of VSL post-tensioning systems in the United States.

We are currently recruiting for a Traveling Field Foreman supporting our Heavy Civil team based out of Fort Worth Texas. Our projects include new structure construction, including PT & rebar installation (stressing and grouting), bridge inspection/repair, unbonded PT repair, barrier cable installation and repair, FRP installation, bridge jacking/bearing replacement, and more.

• Proven ability to manage complex construction work.
