A leading concrete construction firm in Raleigh, North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Project Safety Coordinator. This full-time traveling role involves developing and implementing project safety programs, conducting jobsite safety orientations, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and federal standards. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of safety experience, excellent communication skills, and relevant safety certifications. Responsibilities also include regular safety inspections and incident investigations to maintain a zero injury culture on all projects.

Qualifications

• Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• At least 3 years of safety experience or equivalent education.
• Working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of the project safety program.
• Establish and conduct jobsite orientation for new project employees.
• Conduct regular weekly safety meetings with subcontractor representatives.
• Ensure and maintain a log of each subcontractor toolbox safety meeting.
• Investigate all incidents and generate proper reports.
