Job summary

Car Keys Express is seeking a Traveling Automotive Key Technician to visit dealerships and auto auctions nationwide, ensuring timely service and key remanufacturing. You will travel up to 75–80% across coasts and support our Louisville office when not on the road.

Base salary is $45,000 with a 15% commission and travel per diem; expected total compensation is $72,000 per year. A company vehicle, laptop, phone, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

What you will do as a Traveling Automotive Key Technician:

Traveling Automotive Key Technicians are ambassadors for the organization, traveling the country, as needed, to ensure our customers do not experience a significant lapse in service in open territories. When not traveling, the person in this position is also expected to assist with general operational tasks such as training and equipment management at our local office in Louisville, KY.

• Ability to work remotely without constant supervision
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 21 years of age with a valid Driver's license
• Familiar with computers, email, and navigating the internet
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, stoop, squat and stand
• Ability to enter and exit elevated van doors 30-40 times daily
• Lift car hoods, disconnect batteries, enter/ exit other vehicles
• Work in all elements of weather is required

Compensation:

$45,000/year base salary plus 15% commission and travel per diem

Expected total compensation is $72,000/year
