The role collaborates with team physicians and coaches, conducts pre-season exams, develops conditioning programs, treats injuries on-site, and participates in community outreach to promote sports medicine.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of athletic training or related field experience.
• State licensure as an athletic trainer in the employment state.
• AT certification and BLS certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and assists physicians in pre-season physical exams, ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Develops conditioning programs to prevent injuries and improve performance.
• Provides on-site evaluation and treatment for injuries during events and practices.
• Applies protective devices and arranges referrals for advanced care when needed.
• Collaborates with coaches and healthcare professionals on rehab plans and return-to-play.
• Educates coaches, athletes, and parents on injury prevention and management.
• Maintains accurate medical records and documentation for continuity of care.
• Supports community outreach to promote sports medicine services.
• Keeps current with best practices and maintains certifications.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains regular attendance.
