Job summary

Summit Line Construction, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to assist in planning, directing, and coordinating foundation construction projects across the western U.S. You will support scheduling, budgeting, staffing, subcontractors, safety, quality, and implementation.

This is a travel-heavy role with up to 100% travel to project sites. Minimum requirements include a construction management/engineering degree and 1–3 years of project management or field engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction management, civil or construction engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in project management, field engineering, construction management, or related role.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel; CMiC or Procore preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and building codes.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the lifecycle of a project from planning to completion.
• Create project schedules with field ops and subcontractors.
• Assist with budgets and development of SOV; prepare billing packages.
• Submit and track locates; manage change orders and client updates.
• Maintain project documentation and prepare reports for leadership.
