Actalent is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for Substation Construction to support critical electrical infrastructure projects on an active Bowling Green site. You will assist in planning, organizing, and applying PM principles to ensure safe, efficient project delivery under direct supervision.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of related experience, with strong communication and MS Office proficiency.
The Assistant Project Manager Substation provides critical project support by planning, organizing, and applying project management principles to electrical infrastructure construction projects. Working under direct supervision, this role helps ensure that substation and transmission projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with business goals. The position requires an understanding of how the construction business operates, how to respond to changing circumstances, and how to engage the right internal and external stakeholders for support. Success in this role relies on strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, consistently meet deadlines, and proactively anticipate and support internal customer needs.
This role is based on an active project site in Bowling Green, Ohio, supporting substation and transmission construction activities. The work environment is field-oriented and fast-paced, with daily interaction among construction crews, subcontractors, engineers, and utility stakeholders.
This is a Contract position based out of Bowling Green, OH.
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $45.67/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
