Xray Technologist perform and process radiographic (including portable) and fluoroscopic radiology tests at the healthcare facility. This role involves obtaining images, assisting with clinical and office functions, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and confidentiality standards.
Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program; minimum of 1 year of experience as a radiology technician; knowledge of all equipment; current certification as a radiology technician; meets American Heart Association (AHA) standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years; ability to assist with lifting, moving, and positioning patients; basic computer operational skills; excellent communication skills; ability to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude; ability to hear verbal communications, read and interpret orders, and document data correctly.

Additional Information: Performs radiological tests, obtains images using appropriate equipment, and transfers images to PACs. Documents tests and procedures via computer. Assists with office functions, clinical tasks, and room turnover. Monitors supplies and equipment, reports malfunctions, and aids in routine maintenance. Checks the OR schedule daily and collaborates with clinical staff to provide coverage as needed. Maintains aseptic techniques during surgical tests and preserves confidentiality of sensitive records.
