Job summary

Wellspring Nurse Source seeks a travel Radiology Technician for a Keene, New Hampshire assignment. The role involves 12-hour day shifts, totaling 36 hours per week, with potential weekend and holiday coverage.

You will perform diagnostic imaging, ensure safety protocols, and collaborate with clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate shows proficiency in fluoroscopy and digital radiography, holds ARRT and BLS credentials, and maintains NH licensure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current experience as an X-Ray Technologist in a hospital setting.
• Proficient in Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, and OR C-arm procedures.
• Experience with patients of all age groups.
• NH Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License (or equivalent).
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Active ARRT certification.

Responsibilities

• Position patients on the examining table and adjust immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimal images.
• Perform routine diagnostic procedures, ensuring a high standard of care.
• Adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.
• Operate film processing equipment and manage mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in various settings, including operating rooms and at the patient's bedside.
• Implement radiation protection techniques to safeguard patients and staff.
• Prioritize and organize daily workflow to ensure timely patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff, demonstrating excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Possess basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
