Position: CHS Travel: X-Ray Technologist (Nights)

Position Information:

The Radiology Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). The Technologist maintains a state license as a general radiographer and is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, OR imaging services, and routine procedures.

Schedule:

• 3-12's Sat/Sun/Mon 5:30p - 6:00a
• 36 hours per week
• On-call shifts are required: approximately eight shifts in a six-week period, each lasting 8 hours. Techs select their own call shifts on a rotating basis, based on seniority.
• Prefer no requests for time off during the contract period.
• The workload primarily involves a busy ED setting and inpatient portable exams.
• Teamwork is encouraged to assist with CT and MR procedures if needed.

Requirements:

• Must have a current Arizona MRTBE Radiologic Technologist license.
• Must have ARRT certification and MRTBE licensure to start.
