Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Radiology Technologist for an immediate travel assignment in Portland, OR. The Rad Tech will perform imaging duties, ensure high-quality images, and support physicians with timely results.

Requirements include 1 year of experience, BLS, ARRT(R) certification, and state licensing as applicable. The role is 40 hours weekly, on days, with 10-hour shifts. Travel lodging and per diem are package considerations.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• BLS, ARRT (R) National Certification, and state-specific licensing when required.
• Rad Techs must stand/walk for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests; explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Follow physician orders for imaging areas.
• Position patient and adjust imaging equipment appropriately.
• Minimize radiation exposure with proper protection precautions.
• Calibrate imaging equipment.
• Prepare results for physician review.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
