Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is hiring for a Radiology Tech (X-Ray) travel assignment in Lodi, CA. The role runs 13 weeks starting 11/30/2026 with a rotating 5x8 shift in a hospital imaging department.

You will perform radiographic procedures, ensure image quality, and work with the Cerner system to document findings. Responsibilities include patient positioning, image labeling, adherence to ALARA guidelines, and collaboration with the radiology team.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform radiographic procedures accurately and safely.
• Experience using the Cerner documentation system.
• Willingness to work varied shifts in a 24-hour department as needed; no call and no float requirements noted.
• Commitment to patient safety, privacy, and high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures (X-ray) with attention to patient safety and image quality
• Position patients, select appropriate exposure factors, operate radiographic equipment, and obtain diagnostic-quality images
• Process, review, and label images; document appropriately in the Cerner documentation system
• Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety principles and ALARA guidelines
• Collaborate with radiology team and clinical staff; assist with workflow and patient care needs
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment; follow infection control practices
