Job summary

Advantis Medical is seeking a Travel X-Ray Tech for a 13-week assignment at UofL-University Hospital in Louisville, KY. The role pays $1,939 per week, on a 3x12 Days shift schedule, and includes Day 1 benefits and licensing support.

You will perform diagnostic X-ray exams, position patients, apply ALARA principles, document findings, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver quality patient care during the travel assignment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent X-Ray Tech experience.
• Must hold all required X-Ray Tech certifications and licenses as mandated by Kentucky and national regulatory bodies.

• Perform ordered diagnostic X-ray exams across the assigned caseload
• Position patients and operate radiographic equipment, adjusting technique and collimation for each study
• Apply radiation-safety practices, including exposure optimization and ALARA principles
• Critique images for positioning and exposure quality, minimizing repeat exposures, and provide completed studies to radiologists
