Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Wound Care for a travel assignment in Mattoon, Illinois. The position offers 36 hours per week, 10-hour days, with a start date of 09/28/2026 for a 13-week assignment.

You will work in Med-Surg with a wound care focus, performing routine care, post‑operative duties, and medication administration. Required: active RN license, BLS, and 18 months of recent acute care Med/Surg experience; other facility requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
