Job summary

Quality Surgical Management (QSM) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to fill a travel Wound Care Provider role. You will operate with full clinical autonomy while benefiting from a strong support network, travel scheduling, and comprehensive training.

There is no night or weekend rounds, no on-call duties, and travel is statewide with provided accommodations. Expect a competitive compensation package, mileage or vehicle coverage, and continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP (Adult, Geriatric, or Family) or Physician Assistant.
• Willingness to travel statewide by car and air.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation (rental vehicles may be provided).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work onsite with patients.
• Ability to adapt to varying schedules based on assignment needs.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to push and pull equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cover vacant territories, provider absences, and new facility start-ups.
• Serve as the initial face of QSM when opening new territories.
• Travel throughout the state, ranging from single-day assignments to week-long assignments.
• Perform bedside surgical wound care.
• Conduct in-person patient assessments.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with facility staff and internal QSM support teams.
