Job summary

Big-D Heavy Industrial is searching for a Warehouse Technician to join our team on a traveling project in Sweetwater County, Wyoming. The role involves receiving, documenting, and managing merchandise for delivery returns, and operating equipment including a 12K reach forklift, mobile RT cranes, boom trucks, and trailers.

You will maintain inventory and ensure correct shipping destinations while keeping the workspace safe and organized.

Qualifications

Requires High School Diploma or GED.
1-2 years’ experience with construction equipment, customer service, basic computer skills, and construction services.
Must have valid driver’s license with excellent driving record.
Must be able to travel.

Responsibilities

Receive and document merchandise for delivery return.
Identify OS&D during receiving and notify materials manager.
Operate equipment (12K reach forklift, cranes, boom trucks, trailers).
Maintain inventory of merchandise entering/leaving warehouse via requisitions.
Ensure merchandise is packed and labeled for shipping.
Ship to correct destination and move items to project areas.
Maintain rental equipment in peak condition and service after each use (cleaning, check safety apparatus, fluids, attachments).
Build relationships with multiple jobsite personnel.
Load/Unload equipment safely into vehicles and trailers.
Keep workspace organized, safe and compliant.
Complete daily reports and weekly summaries for supervisor.
Attend business unit meetings as required.
Use computer software to check in/out rental assets.
Provide feedback for layout, equipment needs, and productivity.
