Job summary

Petco's Vetco Veterinary Assistant role supports the veterinary team as you travel to local clinic locations, greet pet parents, and recommend services to protect pets. You will assist the Veterinarian during procedures and help deliver compassionate care while promoting Petco's pet-first values.

You will work with a friendly team, travel to clinics, and contribute to a positive, welcoming experience for pet parents and their companions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as veterinary assistant preferred.
• Customer service experience in a pet-care setting is a plus.
• Ability to travel to assigned Petco clinic locations.
• Strong communication and compassion when interacting with pet parents.

Responsibilities

• Greet pet parents and explain recommended veterinary services.
• Assist Veterinarian during procedures to ensure smooth operations.
• Support clinic flow, scheduling, and client communications.
• Provide compassionate care and pet safety during visits.
