TotalMed Allied in Saint Cloud, MN seeks an Ultrasound Technologist for a travel assignment. The role emphasizes imaging accuracy, patient preparation, and collaboration with radiologists to support interpretations.

The US Tech will perform exams, educate patients, and ensure proper documentation. 12-hour shifts, 36 hours weekly, 13-week duration, with a focus on safe patient care and quality imaging.

Formación

• Must have 1 year of ultrasound experience.
• Must have BLS, ARDMS national certification, and state-specific licensing when required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Educate patients and families regarding procedures.
• Identify and observe areas of concern with ultrasound imaging.
• Prepare exam room and assist radiologists with ultrasound procedures and biopsies.
• Report abnormalities to medical staff for immediate attention.
• Maintain sonography equipment and report failures.
• Perform scans and write reports based on results.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
