Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a travel Vascular Sonographer in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This 13-week contract requires 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts within a diagnostic imaging team.

Qualified candidates have ARDMS ultrasound credentials, an Accredited Associate’s Degree (or equivalent), at least four years of vascular ultrasound experience, and current BLS. Weekly pay ranges from $1,895 to $2,074, with eligible benefits and reimbursements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a vascular or ultrasound technologist role.
• Accredited Associate’s Degree in Sonography, Radiology, or related discipline, or completion of a 12-month ultrasound program.
• Current BLS certification.
• RDCS, RVT, or RCS/ACS/RCCS credentials through ARDMS/CCI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound exams, including Doppler and physiologic assessments.
• Document preliminary findings and promptly communicate acute results to the care team.
• Review relevant patient health history prior to imaging procedures.
• Prepare the procedure room and ultrasound equipment for daily use, maintaining readiness between exams.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions to supervisors for quick resolution.
• Contribute to staff training and ongoing education when needed.

Schedule

• 7:30am – 4:00pm
• No on-call responsibilities
