• SCRUB role to operate X-ray equipment independently; OH radiology license required.

Interventional Tech with Interventional Radiology and Vascular experience

$4000/Gross 40hrs - ARRT required

Vascular IR Tech: Must have at least 2 years of prior IR Lab experience; cath & EP experience a plus!! We would like this tech to be familiar with cardiac cath, coronary intervention, and EP if possible.

• Responsibilities: Assisting physicians with minimally invasive procedures with imaging guidance like Angioplasty, stenting and Thrombolysis. Performing imaging on heart and blood vessels, preparing patients for procedures and doing patient education. The x-ray techs are involved in performing IV venograms independently prior to pacemaker and ICD insertions. They also help with placing closure devices. This requires the RT scrubbing to be able to operate the X-ray equipment independently, which requires OH rad license.
• Number of labs/Procedures per day: 3 labs typically seeing 10-12 outpatient procedures per day.
• Equipment used: Phillips X-Ray, Merge Hemo for Procedure Charting
• Shift: Variable AM M-F (start 7a or 8a), 40hrs (5x8s or 4x10).
• On Call: every 3-4 days during week (Mon-Fri) and every 3rd to 4th weekend. On Call Rate $6/hr.
• Weekend/Holiday requirement: No weekends (unless on call), no holidays.
• Floating: May float to IR/EP Lab if dual trained.
• Required Certs & Licenses: BLS and ARRT (cannot accept RCIS) | OH Rad license
• EMR: Merge Hemo & MediTech
• NO LOCALS OR FORMER MHS STAFF
