Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Ultrasound Technologist (High Risk OB) for a 13-week assignment in Fargo, North Dakota. You will perform high-risk obstetric ultrasound procedures, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and provide patient education while delivering high-quality imaging.

Requirements include completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program, at least one year of High-Risk OB experience, and current BLS certification; ARDMS/ARRT certifications are

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a High-Risk OB Ultrasound Tech.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.
• ARDMS/ARRT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs.
• Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostics tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples.
• Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy.
• Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate.
• Observe and record patient status and progress.
• Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CRT practice.

Required Qualifications

Summary

The High-Risk OB Ultrasound Tech specializes in performing invasive and non-invasive obstetric and gynecological ultrasound procedures to assist in diagnosing and managing high-risk pregnancies. They ensure accurate, high-quality imaging, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide detailed findings to consulting providers while prioritizing patient education, safety, and comfort.

Essential Work Functions

• Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs
• Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders
• Perform diagnostics tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples

Required Essential Skills

• Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail
