TotalMed Allied in Akron, OH seeks a traveling Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The role requires 1 year of US tech experience, BLS, ARDMS national certification, and state licensing as applicable.

Work involves 40 hours weekly on 10-hour day shifts and includes patient care, image acquisition, and collaboration with Radiologists. This travel position emphasizes accurate imaging, patient handling, and adherence to PACS workflows.

Formación

• 1 year of ultrasound technologist experience required.
• BLS and ARDMS national certification required, plus state license if needed.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform duties safely.

Responsabilidades

• Educate patients and families regarding procedures.
• Identify and observe area of concern with ultrasound.
• Prepare exam room and assist radiologists with procedures and biopsies.
• Report abnormalities to medical staff for immediate action.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and report malfunctions.
• Conduct scans and write reports based on results.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
