Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a travel job in Weirton, West Virginia. The role requires 1 year of experience, BLS, and ARDMS certification. You will perform ultrasound exams, educate patients, and work with Radiologists in a busy travel assignment.

The position features 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, and a duration of 13 weeks. A tax-free stipend and travel accommodations are typically provided per assignment guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• BLS, ARDMS RDMS RVT, and state licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Identify area of concern using ultrasound equipment.
• Prepare exam room and assist Radiologists with procedures.
• Report abnormalities to medical staff.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and report failures.
• Conduct scans and write reports based on results.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use McKesson PACS system.
