TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Ultrasound Technologist for Mason City, Iowa. The role requires 1 year of ultrasound experience, ARDMS, BLS, and state licensing where required.

Includes 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, travel assignment, and wage discussions with potential stipends. Responsibilities include operating ultrasound equipment, preparing exams, assisting radiologists, and documenting results with McKesson PACS.

Formación

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• Must have ARDMS, BLS, ARDMS (RDMS RVT), 1 Year.

Responsabilidades

• Educate patients and/or patient family regarding procedures performed.
• Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe the area(s) of concern.
• Prepare the exam room for examinations and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided biopsies.
• Report any abnormalities that require immediate attention to the appropriate medical staff.
• Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure.
• Conduct scan tests and write reports based on the results.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
