Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a Gastonia, NC assignment. You will operate ultrasound equipment, ensure image quality, and relay findings to physicians. Prioritizing patient comfort, you’ll prepare exam rooms and support radiologists during procedures.

The role is a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours weekly, 12-hour day shifts. Requirements include ARDMS and BLS; licensure as needed. TotalMed Allied notes a tax-free stipend and pay details subject to confirmation.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of ultrasound experience.
• BLS and ARDMS certifications required; licensing as applicable.
• Proficient with ultrasound procedures and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and family about procedures.
• Operate sonographic equipment and observe areas of concern.
• Prepare exam room and assist Radiologists with procedures.
• Report abnormalities to medical staff promptly.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and address failures.
• Conduct scans and write reports from results.
• Maintain accurate patient records using PACS.
