Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a traveling Ultrasound Technologist for a 20-week assignment in Maple Grove, MN. The US Tech will perform ultrasound exams, ensure image quality, and collaborate with physicians for interpretation. 1 year of experience and active ARDMS and BLS credentials are required, with state licensure as needed.

Qualifications

1 year of ultrasound experience
ARDMS National Certification required
BLS certification required
State licensure when required

Responsibilities

Educate patients and/or family about procedures
Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure accurate images
Prepare exam room and assist Radiologists with procedures
Report abnormalities to medical staff promptly
Maintain ultrasound equipment and report malfunctions
Perform scans and write results in reports
Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS
Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
